Get a Crush on the Crush!

The harvest is underway.  As you drive around Sonoma County you'll witness this scene repeated over and over going on into the night and early hours of the morning.  Once the grapes are picked and loaded into these huge containers they are taken to a winery to be crushed into the grapejuice that will eventually be blended, fermented and made into some of the world's finest wines.

Avoiding a Disaster

Not such a pretty picture, but could have greeted the guests when they arrived Sunday evening.

  Instead of a relaxing, romantic vacation hide-away, a big pool of water from a leaking dishwasher would have been the first focus.  Presentations had a bouquet of fresh flowers and a bottle of Sebastiani Estate wine waiting along with a note explaning the situation.

  Presentations made quick arrangements with repair personnel and will have the washer back in working order Monday morning.  The couple understood and appreciated the quick remedy to the problem. They said the wine was excellent!

Ladies Enjoy Catered Meal in Sonoma

One of the joys of providing concierge services for vacation home renters, is having meals provided for guests at their temporary home in the wine country.  Presentations Sonoma arranges for catering or simply stocks the fridge with delicious, fresh Sonoma foods for owners and guests.

Wine and Snacks Ready-On-Arrival!

Presentations Sonoma had a bottle of Imagery's finest wine, a selection of Vella Cheese and snacks prepared by Sonoma Market ready when guests arrived in Sonoma for a celebration of their second anniversary.  We arranged for a limo to pick them up the next day for a custom tour of the area's wineries -- with a picnic basket in tow.

VIP Shopping Around Sonoma

Presentations Sonoma arranged a VIP shopping tour around Sonoma for a group staying at one of Sonoma's B&B's.  We scheduled appointments at some of Sonoma's most amazing establishments for these special guests.  They visited Sign of the Bear for gourmet accessories, Summervine for  for dishware and Sonoma Country Antiques for home furnishings.  Lunch at The Estate followed and then they continued shopping at some of Sonoma's fun clothing shops.  Each store's staff greeted with special services while the girls enjoyed sipping some Gloria Ferrer sparkling wine.  "We never had such a great time shopping and each of us found unusual and beautiful things to take back to Nebraska", says Judith H. 

Touring Sonoma and San Francisco

Presentations Sonoma assists visitors with area sight seeing trips.  Let us know how much time your guests will have in the area and we'll have a customized suggestion list ready at your vacation home or rental.  We make reservations or tour arrangements as needed.  Recently we were asked "Where are the Victorian houses? "  The guests were referring to San Francisco's famous "painted ladies".  Presentations had a detailed map of how to find them and get a photograph like this one. Preparing for New Arrivals

Visited "The Barking Dog" Coffee Shop to get fresh roasted coffee for guests who were arriving late last night.  Having great coffee and fresh cream first thing in the morning is essential to making the Sonoma experience a success for new arrivals.  Also picked up the newest Visitor's Bureau calendar and wine country map.  Double checked the amenities and all is ready!  Enjoy.

Take a Break in Sonoma

The weather is glorious. The vineyards are heavy with purple and green grapes almost ready to harvest. Vella Cheese has award winning selections for your picnic. Benziger has tours through their vineyards. The shops around the plaza are packed with lovely dishware, clothing, art, jewelry and Sonoma chocolates.

Groceries In the Fridge

"Before we hired Presentations to make sure our second home in Sonoma was in order, we would have to spend an extra day preparing for guests. That doesn't include the countless hours we worried about our property. Presentations makes sure our home is safe, ready and welcoming each time we arrive.

Last week we invited a houseful of guests, including a baby and a teenager, to join us. When we arrived each room had beautiful flowers, fresh toilet articles and new magazines for our guests. The teen particularly liked the ones selected just for her.

We asked Presentations to have the refrigerator stocked with groceries so we could we could serve a Sonoma style lunch to everyone immediately- no running all over town and being stressed out.
